Bloom Where You Are Planted

I have always loved this sentiment. When I learned Elemental Doodles had it in one of their stamp sets I was thrilled. The sentiment and image are both in the set Garden of Friends. The mini set is just perfect for the inside page decoration.

My Attempt at Zindorf style

I greatly admire the artistic talents of Michelle Zindorf. She makes the most amazing things and provides wonderful tutorials on her blog. When I was looking at the Elemental Doodle stamp set Natural Wonders a friend said to me "you should do a Zindorf card with that set". Of course they were absolutely right (as usual!). I have determined that I do not have the supplies or patience of Michelle Zindorf, but I still like the end result! I will make further attempts with this style in the future and hope to improve as I go.

I have found THE stamp cleaner. The one that works on clear stamps FABULOUSLY, works on my rubber stamps, won't harm either and even smells good! It is the Clear Stamp Cleaner from Elemental Doodles. I did the double check that it was safe for the rubber stamps. I know that sometimes just because the cleaner works doesn't mean it is safe. This one is. You will LOVE this!

Black and white - again

I have found that I really enjoy coloring in black and white. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, however, that is what is I have been doing. I guess truly coloring in shades of grey.

Fairy ATC

I have enjoyed making a few ATCs lately. This one is done with two of the stamp sets from Elemental doodles. It is Forest Fairies and the butterfly is from Mystic Fairy. Once I got the border figured out it all fell into place.

Elemental Doodles & Monday Mojo #99

I saw the Monday Mojo sketch this week and my brain went a bit crazy designing with one of my stamps from Elemental Doodles. It just lent itself to the sketch so well. This stamp is in the Mystic Fairy set. I really like the design and versatility of it. I think you will be seeing more of this one :)
