QKD- Tuesday BLOG Hop

True to form, the first thing I did was flip the sketch (I can't leave anything alone you know!)



I am so fortunate to get to work with the WIS KIT this month. The image is STUNNING and the accessory stamps the BEST! I stamped her out in Momento ink and then colored her up with my markers to match the background. I used two of the FABULOUS accessory stamps to create accent embellishments in each corner.

Rumor has it that the June WIS kit is almost already sold out, so I STRONGLY recommend that you get to the store and order yours NOW!

The next stop on the hop is the Whimsical Ink Sorority blog followed by Meredith's Blog.

When you finish the shop, be sure you end up at the store so you can pick up close outs of the remaining acrylic stamps, some NEW RUBBER stamps including the WIS kit if you don't already have yours. Trust me, just sign up for the auto ship!!!

I stamped her out in Momento ink and then colored her up with my markers to match the background. The background paper is the new Gypsy Sister by Kaisercraft. I have been waiting to get my hands on this since I saw the first preview, but trust me, it is even better in real life. You WANT some!!! Don't you just love the way she is blowing bubbles? Does anyone ever outgrow blowing bubbles? To give them that shimmer I coated them with Glossy Accents and it is the perfect touch.

Flutter By #82 and WIS Challenge

The Saturday challenge at Whimsical Ink Sorority this week is to use BUTTERFLIES! The challenge at Flutter By Wednesday this week is an open challenge provided it has a butterfly or fairy on it. How perfect is that?


This card uses the mermaid Lorali with her stunning butterfly wings! I colored her with Prismacolor Markers for the skin/hair and Spica pens for everything else.
There is another butterfly mermaid that has been added just this month! It is Monarch Mia - give her a look!

Before I show you the new stamp I am showing off, I want to introduce myself as a new member of the WIS for those who don't know me. I am happily married for 14 years, mom of two boys and work in the financial industry. I love, love, love everything mermaid and fairy so this is a PERFECT fit for me. It wasn't until the last few years that I loosened up enough to release my artistic side and I have never had more fun!

So, my highlight for the new release hop is.......Elizabeth's Crow!
