Michelle Perkett draws some absolutely AMAZING images. She is so kind and has provided this lovely image for us to be able to do a blog hop. I really wanted to show you a fancy card that complimented this stunning image. However, no matter what I added or colored or moved around, it just started to detract from the beauty of the drawing itself. So, I decided to leave it more plain and just enjoy it.
Michelle also asked each of us to list what OUR Christmas wish is. I have spent a lot of time thinking about this. I have two sons. One is a teenager who is dealing with all the typical teenage things I would love to make all better. The other is Deaf and there are those challenges I would want to spare him from. I also have a sister with some pretty severe health issues. Some she has dealt with her entire life and some are new. My wonderful sister-in-law is in a LOT of pain and has many residual problems from a hit and run car accident by a drunk driver a couple of years ago. There are many, many people I love and care for very deeply that I would like to be able to help.
I was thinking over this again this afternoon and trying to pick what my fondest Christmas wish would be. I was driving to pick up my youngest son from school after spending a couple of hours with some friends making cards for
Operation Write Home. At that time it hit me. I am so grateful to have these people in my life, regardless of all the challenges. I am able to spend time with them.
My Christmas wish would be that everyone could actually be with their family and/or those they love. Your next stop is
