Somebodys Watching Me......
The very first time I saw this image in the Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital section, I giggled. In fact, every time I look at it I either giggle or crack a smile. How can something that makes me that happy just to look at it not be a blast to create with? Well, it is :)
I combined it with paper from the Carta Bella Hello Again collection. The sentiment comes with the image, called Somebody's Watching Me... I was going to get all creative and add more embellishments, but in the end decided to just let the image entertain. Still giggling here....
Have a wonderful long weekend if you are in the US like I am .

Treat Hummer
Norma J Burnell has a fabulous fun style with all the zentangles and such through out the images. I just love them and am captivated by their whimsy. THEN, I saw THIS ONE, Treat Hummer. LOOOOOVING it!!! Do you see all the fun details? The mouse with the witch hat, the eyeballs and the tiny jack-o-lantern? More fun to color than you can imagine.
Don't forget that all of Norma J Burnell images are on sale this week at Sweet Pea Stamps!

Love Bugs
I was completely enchanted by this image in the SCACD Digital collection called Love Bugs. They make me think of the roaring 20's and Prohibition era. Is that just a 'wise guy' fly if you ever saw one? The show girl spider is completely smitten. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!
The background paper is from the Farmhouse paper collection and I used stickles, stickles and more stickles!!! The fabulous corners are the Dies by SCACD Garden Corners. The great sentiment is included with the image purchase.

An Apple a Day
Once again it is my favorite week of the month, Variations Week. I just absolutely love seeing what the rest of the Design Team creates when we all work with the same image!
This week we all used Karen Middletons' An Apple A Day. I decided to go with more of a fall type coloring. I had some absolutely perfect paper for the background left from my Bo Bunny Apple Cider collection I got last year.
Don't forget, for the next couple of weeks the rubber stamp portion of the Sweet Pea Stamps store is closed, but you can continue to order digital stamps.

Gentle Dawn
This beauty is Gentle Dawn by ching chou kuik avail at Sweet Pea Stamps. I colored her up to match the background paper from the American Crafts Soho Garden. Added a pearl to her head piece made with Viva Decor Pearl Pen and some Dies by SCACD, Breezy Branches and Dandelion Knoll in the corners.
Go see all the gorgeous new images recently in at Sweet Pea Stamps. I know there will be several you love.

SCACD Digital Premier Release and Hop
Today we are premiering the SCACD Digital site by adding over 40 images designed by Carmen Medlin!!! Carmen's range is fun, fresh, elegant and will have something for everyone. I have added quite a few never before seen Fab images as well as taken some classic past rubber stamps and turned them into digi for this release.
I am your first stop on the hop and super excited to share my creations from a great release. First up is:
This just makes me giggle. I know there isn't a man alive who wants to hear the 'does this make me look fat' or 'whatever' from his girl. How could this sweetie with her question not be a Catch 22? There is no winning :). After coloring her up I paired her with paper from the Websters Pages Modern Romance collection. Used the Dies by SCACD Ribbons and Bows Dressform die and added bling to the bow and die cut with Diamond Stickles.
I absolutely loved this image in red rubber. It is great is digital. I enlarged the image to cover the size of my tag. I colored up Dragonfly Dreams and created shimmering wings on both her and the dragonfly with Icicle Stickles. While waiting for the stickles to dry (important step, don't ask how I know) I sprayed my Inksentials black tag with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold Lame. I fussy cut Dragonfly Dreams and glued her to the tag. To me, it looks like a night sky filled with lightning bugs and magic dust.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - I did a third creation, don't tell! I just could not resist! Look how CUTE he is! That little birdie and the bumble bee overhead that I was able to put stickles on his wings! EEK :) Love on a Limb is just perfect paired with paper from the Websters Pages Modern Romance collection and using the Dies by SCACD Breezy Branches Statement Corner. I also trimmed some of the branches from a second corner die to tuck around the image.
I know you are just going to love all the creations the SCACD Design Team and Special Guest Designers have created for you for the hop today. Your next stop is Elaine's blog. Be sure and leave her some love. If you get lost along the way, the master list is on the SCACD store blog.
