Today is a very, very special day. We are celebrating Shannon's Birthday. Shannon is the owner of Bombshell Stamps and our very own Queen of the Bombshells. For her birthday some of the current and prior Bombshells decided to get together and have a special Bombshell Hop! If you are looking for the complete list, of just stumbled upon this by accident, it can be found on the Bombshell Stamps blog here. If you are hopping along with us, you should have come from the amazingly talented Milo's blog.
My Birthday Card for Shannon is done up with the "Mistress of the Bombshells" with a bit of Halloween thrown in for good measure.
I used the Halloween Costume Digital Stamps. Do you know that Bombshell Stamps actually has a large variety of digi stamps? You can find the entire selection right here. Of course, my favorite are still the red rubber and they are all here. Shipping is always affordable at Bombshell Stamps so no need to order less to cover shipping.
Next up on the hop is Teresa . I know you are in for a treat when you see what she has created!!!

SCACD Digi Day
SCACD now has Digital Images available to purchase. I hope everyone knows that, but you may not know that new ones are being added all the time! To share how much variety is available, several people, including me, are having an SCACD Digi Day and sharing creations made with SCACD Digital images. You can find a complete list of participants on the SCACD Blog HERE.
Bones is such a fun image. Perfect for Halloween, but also perfect for year round.
Bones comes with two different sentiments. The one I used and "A Dog's Love is Forever"
I paired the image with paper from the Bo Bunny paper pad Fright Delight. I also used the Dies by SCACD - Ornate Hinge to create the embellishment.
Holiday Thad makes me smile just looking at him. This is one of the newly released Digi Images and I am loving him! There are more holiday creations including him in my future.
Holiday Thad also comes with the sentiment shown here. The background paper is from the Simple Stories - December Documented. This is probably one of my favorite holiday paper pads ever. If you haven't used Simple Stories before, check them out. I really like the way they organize and coordinate the papers.

Stormy Moon
There are so many gorgeous mermaid images available from Sweet Pea Stamps. One of the amazing artists of mermaids is Elaine Cox and this one is called Stormy Moon. She was a joy to color.
I am especially pleased with the sky background and how it turned out. I did it a different way than I have tried before and just crossed my fingers.
You can get Stormy Moon in red rubber HERE or digital HERE.

SCACD New Release Hop
Today
Susana Loves
Stamps is releasing
another new round of these unique, fresh and edgy rubber stamps due to the
response we got to the premier MechAnimals stamps. Along with the new
MechAnimals there are some fabulous new Far East and floral inspired rubber
stamps being released today as well. They can all be found HERE.
The SCACD Design Team along with some friends and guests are doing a hop and I am so excited to be your first stop showcasing these rubber stamps.
I have to admit that I find preying mantis fascinating. Always have. The best was the year I found a whole bunch of baby ones in my flower bed. They were less than 1/2 inch long and still had all the detail of the adults. Just amazing. I have only ever seen them in green or brown in my garden, however, this one appeared at my house in blue! He looks quite dapper don't you think? Also a bit wise with the saying that accompanies the image.
After coloring him up I used paper from the new Echo Park Reflections pack. I also added to it with some white ink and the new Tim Holtz stencil Eye Chart
Next I get to share Zen Skull
Our International friends can get all the new rubber stamps at Quixotic Paperie HERE :)

I realize that you all know that I looooooooooooove this one. LOVE! The chinese lantern is actually and accessory stamp that comes with the skull to use for the eyes, to create a background, whatever you can imagine. Did I tell you I LOVE this?
After stamping and coloring the image, I cut out the eye and nose sockets and fussy cut the lanterns. I adhered it to black cardstock and trimmed around the image. I used background paper found in the Bo Bunny Autumn Song paper pack. Before I adhered it to the background, I used the branches from the large Baobab Tree that is part of today's release and stamped around the edges. The sentiment is also stamped directly on the paper. It says "Remember When". You get the sentiment when you purchase both skulls released today. What is the other one you ask? Well, keep hopping and you will see! :)
You next stop on the hop is a new one and I am super excited about it. We have a new member of the SCACD Design Team. She is wonderfully talented and I know she has something amazing to share with you. Please leave her some love and welcome here to our SCACD world! Your next stop is:

A bit of Halloween
I was sooooooooooooooo excited when I learned what the variation image is for this week at Sweet Pea Stamps. She is ADORABLE and it is HALLOWEEN! How could I be happier? I can't!
This cutie is Priscilla by Conie Fong. I went outside my box and just colored her however I wanted, them pulled out papers. I was fortunate and found a great match in some of my Halloween papers. Then I used some die cuts to complete the card.
I hope you are enjoy all the variety by the DT on the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog while using the same image. I love seeing what everyone creates.

Just keep swimming....
This fun Lion Fish image is from the SCACD Digital collection. I know that lion fish are not this color in real life. However, since I am the one with the markers, I pick the colors and I wanted to give green and blue a try. Liking it! :)
The fun bottom of the sea plants are actually the Dies by SCACD Fancy Flowers upside down. I am super happy with how they turned out. You will see this from me again with a mermaid, or dolphin, or other sea creature I am certain!

Somebodys Watching Me......
The very first time I saw this image in the Carmen Medlin for SCACD Digital section, I giggled. In fact, every time I look at it I either giggle or crack a smile. How can something that makes me that happy just to look at it not be a blast to create with? Well, it is :)
I combined it with paper from the Carta Bella Hello Again collection. The sentiment comes with the image, called Somebody's Watching Me... I was going to get all creative and add more embellishments, but in the end decided to just let the image entertain. Still giggling here....
Have a wonderful long weekend if you are in the US like I am .

Norma J Burnell has a fabulous fun style with all the zentangles and such through out the images. I just love them and am captivated by their whimsy. THEN, I saw THIS ONE, Treat Hummer. LOOOOOVING it!!! Do you see all the fun details? The mouse with the witch hat, the eyeballs and the tiny jack-o-lantern? More fun to color than you can imagine.

Love Bugs
I was completely enchanted by this image in the SCACD Digital collection called Love Bugs. They make me think of the roaring 20's and Prohibition era. Is that just a 'wise guy' fly if you ever saw one? The show girl spider is completely smitten. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!
The background paper is from the Farmhouse paper collection and I used stickles, stickles and more stickles!!! The fabulous corners are the Dies by SCACD Garden Corners. The great sentiment is included with the image purchase.

An Apple a Day
Once again it is my favorite week of the month, Variations Week. I just absolutely love seeing what the rest of the Design Team creates when we all work with the same image!
This week we all used Karen Middletons' An Apple A Day. I decided to go with more of a fall type coloring. I had some absolutely perfect paper for the background left from my Bo Bunny Apple Cider collection I got last year.
Don't forget, for the next couple of weeks the rubber stamp portion of the Sweet Pea Stamps store is closed, but you can continue to order digital stamps.

SCACD Digital Premier Release and Hop
Today we are premiering the SCACD Digital site by adding over 40 images designed by Carmen Medlin!!! Carmen's range is fun, fresh, elegant and will have something for everyone. I have added quite a few never before seen Fab images as well as taken some classic past rubber stamps and turned them into digi for this release.
I am your first stop on the hop and super excited to share my creations from a great release. First up is:
This just makes me giggle. I know there isn't a man alive who wants to hear the 'does this make me look fat' or 'whatever' from his girl. How could this sweetie with her question not be a Catch 22? There is no winning :). After coloring her up I paired her with paper from the Websters Pages Modern Romance collection. Used the Dies by SCACD Ribbons and Bows Dressform die and added bling to the bow and die cut with Diamond Stickles.
I absolutely loved this image in red rubber. It is great is digital. I enlarged the image to cover the size of my tag. I colored up Dragonfly Dreams and created shimmering wings on both her and the dragonfly with Icicle Stickles. While waiting for the stickles to dry (important step, don't ask how I know) I sprayed my Inksentials black tag with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold Lame. I fussy cut Dragonfly Dreams and glued her to the tag. To me, it looks like a night sky filled with lightning bugs and magic dust.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - I did a third creation, don't tell! I just could not resist! Look how CUTE he is! That little birdie and the bumble bee overhead that I was able to put stickles on his wings! EEK :) Love on a Limb is just perfect paired with paper from the Websters Pages Modern Romance collection and using the Dies by SCACD Breezy Branches Statement Corner. I also trimmed some of the branches from a second corner die to tuck around the image.
I know you are just going to love all the creations the SCACD Design Team and Special Guest Designers have created for you for the hop today. Your next stop is Elaine's blog. Be sure and leave her some love. If you get lost along the way, the master list is on the SCACD store blog.

Ink Splats
Ink Splats from the new release MechAnimals just wrapped his chained tentacles right around my heart!!! Love him, love him!!! It was such fun to color him and use the Copic Glitter Pens in silver and gold for the metallic portions. The background paper is actually from two different collections. The black with dots is from the Graphic 45 - Steampunk Spells and the teal is from the Carta Bella - Well Played. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some more MechAnimals to color up!

First up is another round of these FUN little pranksters the Oddly SweetCuriosities #5! With their universal appeal the Curiosities were just begging for another turn in the spotlight with a new release. These little guys are the perfect way to provoke a smile or a laugh. We're addicted, and from the popularity of the previous sets we know you will be too! Please note each stamp comes with its' own sentiment stamp.
I am excited to share my personal favorite. Spike! I see him and it makes my heart happy. I had even more fun coloring him up and turning him into a card.
Spike has stickles added in assorted places and the balloons are covered in Diamond Glaze. The background paper is from a Valentine line no longer available, but the other ones are on sale here. The sentiment comes with Spike and is stamped directly on the background with red ink. The corners are the Dies by SCACD Contempo Compass trimmed down to just the center star.
*******************************
Susana Loves Stamps is also showcasing a fresh new line: the MechAnimals. This line instantly stole my creative heart! I am loving each and EVERY single image!!! This edgy but endearing range of SteamPunk animals will lend themselves to all sorts of projects and styles and earn a place in your crafty hearts. Please note each stamp comes with its' own sentiment stamp.
I am SUPER excited to get to share Wise Owl. First though, I want you to see the details in these stamps. Just look at the clockworks that make up Wise Owl's eyes!! WOWOWOWOW!
The sentiment with this image is 'Take time to Spread you Wings'. I love that. The background paper has teeny tiny hearts on it and is part of the Webster's Pages Modern Romance collection.

Little Acorns, Big Dreams
This sweetie is Little Acorns, Big Dreams from the Fairy Dust Collection. After coloring her up I added Diamond Stickles to her wings, Viva Decor Gloss Pen in Opaque on the frame and used paper from the Teresa Collins Stationary Noted. I had the most fun creating those whimsical mushrooms though.
Those mushrooms are created by using THIS fabulous Die by SCACD!!!! Yes, really!!!!
I used the Vintage Fountain die to cut red cardstock. I backed the cut out with white cardstock and then cut the sections apart and flipped them over.
TA-DA!! Whimsical mushrooms!!!

Morganna
I think the girls drawn by Terra Bidlespacher are just wonderful. Each of them seems to speak to me and have so much expression on her face. This is one of the newest releases from Terra Bidlespacher for Sweet Pea Stamps and is called Morganna. She is available as a single rubber stamp or on a sheet with three other wonderful Terra Bidlespacher images on Plate #210.
The background was created using the Kraft Core 'Shattered' cardstock and the Couture Creations embossing folder 'Uber'. I then lightly sanded the raised embossing so it would stand out more. The metal gears were the finishing touch.

Me and My Shadow
The most recent stamp release from SCACD is Fairy Dust designed by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. This image is called Me and My Shadow.
I paired this image with paper from the Webster's Pages Modern Romance collection. The sentiment is from the Susana Loves Stamps Blank Canvas Collection #2. It is the word collage freebie image that comes with the complete sheet.
These cute mushroom die cuts are actually, are you ready for this...., from the Dies by SCACD Vintage Fountain. I know, pretty cool isn't it? I am going to do this again. I have some whimsical creations that need red mushrooms with white behind them for the dots. These are just perfect.

Lotus
Lotus is one of the many flower themed women in the collection drawn by Rebecca Sinz and available in digi and rubber from Sweet Pea Stamps. I had planned to be much more ornate with the background and embellishments on this card, but everything seemed to be wrong with the image. Then you always need more texture. The best way to get texture?
