Skull Appreciation Day! - with a BLOG HOP!

WELCOME!  I am Edgar Allen Crow and I am so happy you have stopped by for Skull Appreciation Day.  This all started on a blog called Skull A Day which Alex follows.  They announced June 4 to be Skull Appreciation Day.  Of course those silly people at the Smeared and Smudged forum Alex hangs out with jumped on it.  Any excuse for a Blog Hop on the dark side......

Anyway- there are prizes to be won as part of this hop as well.  If you start at the beginning at Terra's Blog you can see how YOU can win.  If you have already been there, then, hopefully, you are coming from Jane's blog and that you left her some love.  Now, on to what Alex created for you today.

It doesn't look it, but this project took her a long time to create.  Only because her mojo went on vacation and she had to push through.  However, once she started cutting the skulls and just getting busy, a smile appeared on her face and there was no stopping her.  In fact, she has been busy creating ever since.

Not the new creations, but since it IS skull appreciation day, I couldn't resist pulling out a couple of my personal favorites Alex has created.  Here are a couple of oldies but goodies.

I know this is a bit off track and there is a LOT to see today, but I simply MUST share with you this product that Alex used on her card.  It is called Goosebumps

Here is how it works, you spray it on something - in this case it was white paper, but it says it will work on all sorts of surfaces- and let it dry.  It dries clear.  She then grabbed some distress inks and sponges and added the color.  This is how Alex created the background and the very cool effect on the 'head skull'.  Here are some closeups so you can see it better.

Needless to say, Alex is now running around looking for more things to spray!!! Don't worry- after the 'glitter incident' I am staying out of her way!!!

Now- run along to the next stop on the hop, Judi's blog, and leave her some love while you are there.  If you get lost along the way, I have posted the entire list at the end of this post!

Happy Skull Appreciation Day!
Edgar

Edgar! It's so good to see you again! I've missed you! I'm glad Alex is letting you out of your cage a little more frequently these days. I guess she finally forgave you for that whole eye-pecking incident. Tell Alex her project is fabulous and I also enjoyed seeing her old time favorites! That girl with the wagon of bones is too cool! On her newest project, the texture from that spray is so awesome that i think I need to buy myself some! She did a great job with the colors and overall design. Fabulous!~

Oooh. Very cool. I love the main skull and the skull pile.

The card with the little girl pulling the wagonload of skulls is one of my favorites of your cards.

I've been really curious about the Goosebumps spray. It looks like it's something I need to add to my collection of stuff.

The glitter incident...I know it was traumatic, but you musn't blame Alex. That glitter just has a mind of it's own. Fabulous work showcasing Alex's projects, Edgar. They are all stunning as usual, and the new technique using the spray is definitely a keeper! Love the ghostly skulls!!!

Hey Edgar, glad you stayed out of the way of the mad sprayer! Alex is seriously talented tho, and the skulls must have taken a long time cut out! Loved that you pulled out a couple of old projects - the more skullys the better! And, Goosebumps looks like a must have product.
