Wise Owl

SCACD has these amazing images called MechAnimals.  They have some in digital and some in rubber.  This Wise Owl is from the rubber release found HERE.  I love this guy and all his steampunkness.

I have paired him up with the Dies by SCACD - Alice's Clock Statement Corner.  It just goes so perfectly.  As does the charm I found in my box of goodies.

Challenges:
A Little Bit Crafty - Birds and Bees
Really Reasonable Ribbon #93 - Ribbon and Monochromatic
SanDee and amelie's - Favorite Technique goes Steampunk
Artistic Inspirations #87 - Monochrome Anything Goes

SCACD ELEMENTS RUBBER STAMP BLOG HOP!!!
SCACD is releasing four rubber stamps which are collectively called The Elements Collection. They were inspired by nature's four elements. Thoughts of water, wind, fire and earth so powerful in nature captured in these women thru collaboration with SCACD Artist Carmen Medlin.

The SCACD Design Team and some amazing Guest Designers have put together a hop to showcase these stunning images.  I am the first stop on this hop and the complete list of participants can be found on the store blog HERE.

For the hop I got to work with the image EARTH.  Isn't she just amazing?

I stamped the image with Momento Ink and then colored it up with Copics and Prismacolor markers.  After fussing cutting the image, I created the perfect background using the Dies by SCACD Breezy Branches Statement Corner and Dandelion Knoll Statement Corner.

You next stop on the hop is the super talented KIM and her post is HERE.

Now available in the USA are the SCACD April 7th rubber stamp release HERE. SCACD Digital images for USA and International can always be found HERE.
For locating SCACD rubber stamps, including the New Release, our International Friends please check out Quixotic Paperie HERE!!!

Moments

HELLO!!!!

I have been a bit absent from posting here lately.  I am not sure what happened.  It was January and then suddenly, it is March!  WHAT HAPPENED TO FEBRUARY???  Wow!  Time is just flying.

Based on this realization that life is just moving so fast, I thought that this image, Moments, from The Oddly Sweet Curiosities Set #4 was appropriate. A bit of a reminder to stop and enjoy in the midst of the hustle and bustle.

The image and sentiment come together or, of course, you can get the entire set.  I just love these Oddly Sweet Curiosities -all of them!  They always make me smile and there is an image and sentiment for everyone.

Have an absolutely FABULOUS day!  Be certain to slow down for just a moment and enjoy.

SCACD Digital and Rubber Stamp Hop!

SCACD DIGITAL and RUBBER STAMP HOP!!!

Earlier this month SCACD released the Montage collection of rubber stamps, a total of 26 rubber stamps with a contemporary yet classic look that will make them a fantastic addition to your stamping toolbox for years to come.  They are available now for purchase HERE both in full sheets and as smaller sets.

These five lanterns are all individual stamps, but I strung them together for a back garden decoration :).  I paper pieced them using some gorgeous paper sent to me by a friend in Japan.  I popped a couple up and love the result.

SCACD has also unleashed 12 fun and fresh SCACD Digital images for purchase HERE.

This image is from the SCACD Digital collection.  The background is created using the new rubber stamp Art of Chemistry.  I used white ink on black cardstock to give a chalkboard  look.  It seemed a bit empty and so I added the Dies by SCACD - Alice's Clock corner die cut from mulberry paper.

Now on to your next stop on the hop is a super special guest.  Carmen who is the image artist!  You can find her creation for the hop HERE.

International Customers:
The digital images can be purchased HERE.  The new rubber stamps can be purchased at QUIXOTIC PAPERIE for our International Friends.

If you get lost along the way, the complete hop list can be found on the store blog HERE.

Steampunk Heart

When this stamp was first released by SCACD it was an INSTANT favorite.  An anatomically correct Steampunk heart.  How could it not be a favorite?  It is AMAZING!

This is the latest of several creations using this image from the Mixed Media Blank Canvas Collection #2.  The background paper is by Graphic 45 with several different Stickles to highlight the image.  The watch gear accents are from a friend that actually took apart a watch to get them!

I am very excited to enter this into the Punk You Girl challenge for January of "Steampunk".  I saw that challenge post and my brain instantly when to this image :)

Challenges:
Punk You Girl - #8 Steampunk
DL Art Thankful Thursday - #124 Hearts

Happy Birthday to the Queen of the Bombshells!!!

Today is a very, very special day.  We are celebrating Shannon's Birthday.  Shannon is the owner of Bombshell Stamps and our very own Queen of the Bombshells.  For her birthday some of the current and prior Bombshells decided to get together and have a special Bombshell Hop!  If you are looking for the complete list, of just stumbled upon this by accident, it can be found on the Bombshell Stamps blog here.  If you are hopping along with us, you should have come from the amazingly talented Milo's blog.

My Birthday Card for Shannon is done up with the "Mistress of the Bombshells"  with a bit of Halloween thrown in for good measure.

I used the Halloween Costume Digital Stamps.  Do you know that Bombshell Stamps actually has a large variety of digi stamps?  You can find the entire selection right here.  Of course, my favorite are still the red rubber and they are all here.  Shipping is always affordable at Bombshell Stamps so no need to order less to cover shipping.

Next up on the hop is Teresa .  I know you are in for a treat when you see what she has created!!!
