12 Days of Christmas - Day 7

Thanks for sticking with Alex and I on the 12 Days of Christmas event.  I know that sometimes Alex brings out some odd things, and today is no exception to that, but I do enjoy having the hosting gig.
We are back with a tag made using one of the newer Paper Makeup Stamps.  This one is the Oo La La for Santa set and on a bit different theme than the angel Alex worked with before.

Alex really wanted an aged look to the tag so used walnut ink.  I told her she could just put it out in the grocery store parking lot while she did her shopping and it would be all ready when she came out.  Alex didn't think that was near as good an idea as I did.  The fur trim is created using a liquid applique pen.

Before I go today I want to leave you with a final thought:

Brown chicken
Brown cow!

Happy Holidays!

Love the tag, and Edgar, I'm sure it wasn't the validity of your aging technique that Alex was questioning, just the thought of grocery shopping at this time of year :P
Could you also please tell Alex that she's one of the Gruesome Twosome for the recent Paper Pandemonium challenge at HDH, and as such, she gets to choose a free item from my shop?
Now that's the kind of shopping we all like; you can do it from your own chair, AND you don't have to pay :P
Just email me with your choice and I'll sort it out straight away :)

Edgar, as usual, you had a great idea for Alex! Too bad she didn't go with it...although her way of distresing the tag worked out perfectly! Great image!

Interesting idea Edgar, if I tried that at my grocery tho the pesky pigeons might fly away with it. They just aren't as up on the art world as you are. This tag is fabulous, I think her aging technique worked splendidly and that image is great and the little holly and berries are the perfect touch.
