I knew that I wanted to have some of those gorgeous prima roses on this card. I had the perfect blue one and then I had a light grey and a dark grey one and that was IT. Now, I know you are all cringing, I was too, but the grey had to become pink. I know, I know, grey roses are hard to find and usually would be perfect for what I make, but not this time. (by the way- SCACD does have grey roses and they are on SALE)
Out came the Smooch Spritz in Pink Sparkle because really, what could I lose? Might as well give it a go, right? 30 seconds later I had this:
WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! PINK roses!!!
I left them to dry and began assembling my card. I used another of the fabulous new embossing folders by Craft Concepts called Stately. I inked the embossing a bit to give it the 'aged' look. Anyone else have the white bed with the gold paint to 'antique' it or am I the only one that old?
The image was cut and matted and then I used the rose covered paper by K&Company in the Sweet Nectar paper pack.
I arranged the now perfect colored roses below the image with some die cut leaves. Then, feeling the need for just a touch more, I grabbed two of the new Smooch colors Lettuce and Shabby Pink to highlight the leaves and roses.
Get Inky!

Beautiful card, Alex! You are really cranking out some beauties!!
Alex, this is gorgeous!! Thank you for the info on Spritz..I have two bottles and never sprayed anything except scrap paper and my nozzles clogged! Do you know how to unclog the sprayer, running under hot water did not help. I love your card and flowers! Hugz, Colleen
